Get Involved: Become a Volunteer

The Pit Run is truly a community event in all sorts of ways. From the cheering spectators who line the race course to the volunteers who make sure each Fun!Run participant crosses the finish line. While we have a good core group of volunteers who have been with the race since its inception in 1994, we can always use a few more hands (and feet!).

Typically volunteers assist with set up in the park the morning of the race, registration, the fun!run, post-race refreshments, water stations, lining up the runners (and walkers), directing the runners through the course, the finish line, and of course - clean up.
